Sen. Kitchen Honors Lauren McCluskey

On Friday, Feb. 12, Sen. Kitchen was granted a point of personal privilege on the Senate Floor to honor the late Lauren McCluskey on her 24th birthday.

After her death on Oct. 22, 2018, McCluskey’s parents, Matthew and Jill McCluskey, founded the Lauren McCluskey Foundation to honor Lauren’s legacy by supporting charitable work and forwarding positive change in her name. The Foundation is working with experts and educators to develop best-practice standards, curriculum, training, and cultural change to make the college experience safer for all students.
