Trauma Informed Justice Solutions
Improving the criminal justice process is very much a bi-partisan issue. In 2016 and in previous years, we have focused heavily on reinvesting in our criminal and juvenile justice populations. While we continue to improve, we must not forget our responsibility to victims of crime.
Senator Luz Escamilla (D-Salt Lake), Representative Ken Ivory (R-West Jordan), and the Trauma-Informed Justice Workgroup invite you to attend an information panel discussion this coming Tuesday, January 16th, 2018, at 7pm, at the State Capitol. Agencies, advocates, experts, and survivors will address trauma-informed justice solutions, survey results and proposed legislation for the upcoming session.
